Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October 2011 also saw the sale and exhibition of organic vegetables, fer tilizers, seeds, farming and fruits as well as flowers produced by Paryavaran Mitra.

The purpose of organising this exhibition was to introduce organic farming to the farmers and encourage them to adopt it.

Organic fertilizer and method of making organic fertilizers were presented during the event. Wheat, maize, sorghum, coriander, fenugreek and spinach grown using such fertilizer were presented. CMD Shekhar Bajaj and President Kiran Bajaj were present at the exhibition. More than 700 villagers and farmers attended the exhibition and enhanced
their know  ledge . Encouraged by thi sexperiment it has been decided by Paryavaran
Mitra to frequently organise such exhibitions.
