Paryavaran Mitra (Friends of Environment) is an NGO constituted as a society on 24th September 2004, having it’s headquarters at Shikohabad in Uttar Pradesh (North India) with various operating offices spread all over India.
It was initiated with the vision, concern and passion of Mrs. Kiran Bajaj and other like minded people, who care for the Environment.
It’s like any other form of friendship where there is love, care, affection and concern for our environment.
It is a small reciprocation of all that the environment provides us, so selflessly.
It does not claim any expertise except commitment towards its single-minded goal – the environment. This includes the ground we step on, the food we eat, the water we drink, the noise we hear the air we breathe.
Paryavaran Mitra knows nothing of caste, colour, creed, class, religion, belief of group; if you are committed, you are one of us.
